Virtual Filed Trips

While everyone is cooped up at home during the COVID-19 situation, you still can enjoy the outdoors via a “virtual field trip,” complements of Audubon Pennsylvania and various Pennsylvania chapters.

You’re invited to join a new weekly feature with other Pennsylvania chapters. Every Wednesday at noon, we at Audubon Pennsylvania will be hosting a virtual “Field Trip” led by chapter leaders from across the state. We hope you’ll sign up and join the fun. It’s a great way to discover some new birding adventures that you can add to your wish list and save for better days.

First up, Bonnie & Alan Yuscavage from the Greater Wyoming Valley Audubon Society will be taking you on a tour of Moon Lake in northeastern Pennsylvania on Wednesday, April 8th. They’ll be sharing some of their favorite sites, a fantastic restoration partnership with the PA Bureau of Forestry, and wonderful photos of the birds, flora, and other wildlife that call the lake home.

Click here to sign up for the “Field Trip.” And please share the link with your members, volunteers, family, and friends. The more the merrier!!

Many thanks to Bonnie & Alan for leading the way on this adventure. Next week, look for an invitation to join Margaret Rhode from Wyncote Audubon Society and Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association for a tour of Crossways Preserve.
