Avondale Hill Hawk Watch

Leader: Bonnie Yuscavage

When: Saturday, October 23, 2021; 9:00 a.m.

Avondale Hill is the site of reclaimed strip land and its location on a hill over the Susquehanna make it a great place to look for migrating hawks. The view should be lovely in October, too. Getting to the location will involve a 1/10 mile somewhat strenuous walk up a graveled hill and then the terrain is more rolling. Good footwear is recommended. Call Bonnie at 570-283-1518 or email at byuscavage@yahoo.com to register and to verify meeting place, or click the link below.
